Why are you in College?

College has never really been an option in my family, first off. But, I really love History and Goverment. I’ve also had a strong interest in the Police force :) Ever since I was little I wanted to be a cop >:^) Haha I don’t know why, but I just do. Both things make me feel like I will eventually be helping people and actually there for more than just a paycheck :) (Not to mention the Economy being so bad now days, that it’s VERY hard to find a job.) Back in the day it was good to say you had time in college and it would help with a job. But now its a struggle to even get a job WITH college time. It’s crazy… Times are changing and even though the 2 things I’m focussing on don’t pay a whole lot, in the long run it doesn’t really matter to me :) If you love your’e job, then it isn’t really a job. You gotta love what you do. Last month I was invited to a conference… The Golden Apple Scholarship :) SO HAPPY! Haha it was fun and an amazing opportunity! After going to that, I feel like I really am on the road to success :) (It’s funny cuz anybody that knows me could tell you that I’m the last person you’d expect to be in college right away, yet here I am Haha. I’m trying to get it done as fast as I can so I can go right into what I wanna do. :)
